31-01-2017January 31st: PhD Scholarship from FCT awarded to Sandra Sorte
A member of the AIRSHIP team, Sandra Sorte, is awarded a PhD scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
Setember 1st: Two new fellows start working on the project
On September 1st, two scholarhip holders (masters) were hired under the AIRSHIP project: Sandra Sorte, Master in Environmental Engineering and Michael Russo, Master in Energy and Sustainable Systems. Sandra Sorte will develop work on the local scale (numerical and physical modeling) and Michael Russo will work on the regional scale (WRF-CHIMERE model system).
